Advisor Position
Alpha is looking for an Advisor that has the background, experience, and personality to provide an outstanding client experience. The Advisor will be responsible for acquiring new high net worth clients and providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to their existing clients and their families. The Advisor will be responsible for business development and client retention. The Advisor will have primary client relationship responsibility along with serving as support on additional client relationships. This individual interacts with clients daily to gather information, analyze information, develop recommendations, implement recommendations, and monitor the portfolios of their clients. Integrity, intelligence, and initiative are key requirements at Alpha.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to understand client financial goals and objectives, develop personalized, comprehensive financial solutions to help achieve the desired outcomes, and explain these solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Actively engage with clients to update goals, objectives, and implement appropriate recommended solutions
• Client meeting preparation
• Efficiently manage client meetings
• Establish and maintain a service delivery schedule for clients
• Maintain confidentiality on all client business as well as firm proprietary intellectual property
Qualifications
• A four-year University (Bachelor’s) degree, preferably in a related field such as finance, economics, business, or sciences
• Preference for candidates with a professional designation (CFA, CFP, CPA, etc.) or advanced degree(s)
• Several years of experience (2-5) in the financial services industry in a client relationship position with a proven record of bringing in new business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate independently in dealing with broad concepts and to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Deep knowledge of various investment and financial topics and a commitment to client service
• Attention to detail and to issues of confidentiality
• Proficient in the use of client relationship management and business software and technologies
• Updated on the wealth management industry, internal policies, regulatory standards, procedures, and changes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and practices
• Series 65 with a clean compliance record
• Fluency in another language relevant to client market(s)
• A growth mindset with a commitment to lifelong learning and sharing
